Trash to Treasure - Jewellery Upcycling Course Join us for this special 3 part course with renowned fashion and film Jewellery Designer Vicki Sarge "The Undisputed Queen of British Costume Jewellery" Give a new lease of life to your unloved jewellery which is gathering dust, or in need of repairs, or just come along and learn from scratch. With Vicki's wealth of knowledge, gained from years of working in the film and fashion industry she will teach you over 3 weeks the basics of jewellery making including: - Wire turning - Bead weaving - Threading and knotting Pearls Over the course of 3 weeks Vicki will also be sharing her tips, tricks and skills for upcycling your old jewellery from 'Trash to Treasure' creating new and exciting pieces of original and unique upcycling jewellery. Materials needed - Old jewellery items that need a refresh, broken bits or even single earring that's lost their mate. - Ribbons, patches or leather that you think might be fun to add in. - A pair of jewellery pliers will be required, these can be provided if necessary, or you if you prefer we can email you recommendations. Catwalk collaborations include Rihanna's 2019 Savage X Fenty Show (pieces of which are now housed in the permanent collection of the V&A), Dries Van Noten, Erdem, Givenchy, Raf Simons for Jil Sander, and A.F. Vandevorst. VICKISARGE has also collaborated with Mario Testino to produce jewels for his MATE collection and, most recently, the SS24 Ashish show. Film work includes the BAFTA award-winning "The Favourite," "Elizabeth: The Golden Age," and "Factory Girl." Most recently, we have designed jewellery for Andrew Lloyd Webber's West End hit "Cinderella" and New York's MET Opera. Beyoncé wore bespoke VICKISARGE for L'Officiel Magazine, and this piece entered the permanent collection of the V&A and is currently featured in their "Diva" exhibition. Classes will run Fridays 10:30am - 1:00pm 17th January 25 24th January 25 31st January 25 at Bus Stop Studios

Cancellation Policy
Please note our classes are mostly aimed for adults. Please get in touch to ask if you are unsure. Our classes are non refundable. Due our small class sizes it is very difficult to transfer your booking to a different date. If you cannot attend a class and are able to notify us at least two weeks before the class starts, it may be possible to fit you in on another date but this is not guaranteed so please give us as much notice as possible to increase your chances. T&Cs Terms & Conditions • You can book places on our classes, workshops and events on our website or in person at Bus Stop Studios, 53 London Road, St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex TN37 6AY • Places are booked on a first-come-first-served basis. Full payment is required at the time of booking in order to reserve your place. • Bookings and payments will be confirmed by email. • The materials and tools needed for each class varies, so please refer to the course description but don’t hesitate to contact us with any queries. • If you are unable to attend a class, workshop or event you may send someone else in your place. You must let us know the name of the attendee prior to the class, workshop or event taking place. • Confirmed & paid bookings are not eligible for payment refunds. • You can transfer to another class, workshop or event or receive a credit note if you notify us at least 14 days before the date of the class, workshop or event you are booked on to attend. • In exceptional circumstances, where we may have to cancel one of our advertised classes, workshops or events, you will be offered a full refund. • If a class, workshop or event is cancelled our liability is solely for the cost of the booking fee, not for any other costs you may have incurred such as materials you may have purchased in advance, travel costs or accommodation. • Attendees at our classes, workshops and events are not permitted to use any of our instruction sheets, photography or designs for their own classes or other commercial concerns.
