Bus Stop Studios Summer Exhibition - OPEN CALL

Bus Stop Studios is proud to announce the launch of our first ever annual Summer Exhibition showcasing talent from the local area of Hastings and surrounding East Sussex.

The theme of the exhibition is very loose, we would just like the art to have been made in the past 12 months. Anyone over the age of 16 can enter  and we welcome all mediums of work including:

- ceramics

- paintings

- textile art

- sculpture

- printwork

- photography 

- digital art

Due to the size of the classroom gallery we will be limited on the size of pieces shown (the room functions as a classroom so oversized items could be tricky). We will be hanging on 3 walls and the window space will be used for the 3D objects

The exhibiton will run over July and August with a Private View happening on Friday 5th July 2024

All pieces will be available to buy over the 2 months of the exhibition

Artists can enter in to the open-call between 2nd April - 31st May 2024. 

Digital entries cost £2 (maximum 5 entries)

When you have paid for your submission please email good qualities images of your work to hello@busstopstudios.com with a description of the piece, name, size and price you would like to recieve. We will be adding a 40% gallery commision to all sales (all pieces not sold will be returned to the artist after the show.

A percentage of all sales will go to local charity  'The Lotus Flower' who support women and girls affected by conflict and displacement @thelotusfloweruk

A judging panel made of local creatives will decide which pieces will be in the exhibiton in early June, finalist will be annoiunced in due course. Pieces selected will be need to delivered to Bus Stop Studios no later than the 25th June 2024
